Big Game Focus: Arsenal v Tottenham

Arsenal hope to bounce back with a Premier League win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on when they take on each other later on today. Bet on the match here.

Arsenal went into last weekend’s clash against Liverpool as one of only two teams in the Premier League with a perfect record. That was put to a stop by Liverpool who managed to run away with a 3-1 win.

Tottenham for their part have not had the perfect start to the season and it is due to the uncertainty surrounding Christian Eriksen. This has played a big part in what many could say is an ominous start to their campaign.

We definitely expect an entertaining fixture and we can definitely expect a lot of goals.

Betting preview

Arsenal have won the majority of their matches against Tottenham in the Premier League. The last time Spurs beat the Gunners at the Emirates in the Premier League was in 2010. Arsenal won (4-2) in the last meeting and there is good value in backing a Home Win at odds of 2.35.

This match promises a lot in terms of intensity with strikers on both sides in red hot form. Six of Arsenal's last seven games in the Premier League have had Over 2.5 Goals scored. Tottenham have seen Over 2.5 Goals scored in three of their last five meetings in all competitions and you can back Over 2.5 Goals at odds of 1.55.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored seven goals in his last eight Premier League appearances and has found the net in each of his last three league games at the Emirates, so we think he’s a great choice for our Anytime Goalscorer predictions at odds of 5.75.

Team news

Apart from the long-term absentees, Arsenal have no new injury concerns. Alexandre Lacazette could find a place in the starting lineup whilst Joe Willock should start on the bench.

The main topic of discussion for Tottenham will be whether Christian Eriksen will start Sunday while his future in the club remains uncertain. Spurs will also be hoping that Kyle Walker-Peters and Tanguy Ndombele will be able to recover from their injury before the match.

Possible lineups

Arsenal: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, David Luiz, Monrea, Xhaka, Cebellos, Guendouzi, Pepe, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Tottenham: Lloris, Walker-Peters, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Rose, Ndombele, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Son, Kane.
